Salt 2017 Middle East will look at advances in salt production technology, market developments, networking and business, and has already attracted delegates from around the world.

Prospective authors should email a proposed presentation title and abstract to us as soon as possible.

Instructions for Presenters

Presenters at Salt 2017 Middle East should carefully note the following points and deadlines:

Confirmed authors should supply a 100-word biography and Powerpoint presentation to us by 31 July 2017. The maximum time allotted to each speaker will be 30 minutes including introduction and questions.

The registration fee includes attendance at all conference sessions, the welcome reception, lunch and refreshment breaks on both days and a set of the conference proceedings including an electronic copy of the conference papers.

Yes, delegates are responsible for booking their own accommodation. A limited number of discounted rooms have been reserved at the Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Dubai for attendees who make their reservations early.

Payments for conference registration are accepted online, or by bank transfer or credit card. If necessary we can also accept cash payments on the day. Please note all delegates must have paid fully to gain admittance to the event.

Full refunds, less a cancellation administration charge of US$250, will be made on cancellations received two months prior to the event.

Thereafter we regret that no refunds can be made, though delegates may be substituted at any time. Please note, no refunds will be given at any time on table top packages or sponsorship packages.

Unfortunately, Roskill cannot take responsibility for weather, personal or travel/visa issues that might prevent your attendance at our conferences. We recommend that you ensure that your travel plans leave you enough time to cope with weather delays or industrial action and that your travel insurance policy will recompense you for any financial loss that you suffer as a result of being unable to travel for other reasons.

Remember that if you cannot attend an event then you can always send a colleague in your place at no extra charge. Please refer to the question ‘Can my colleague replace me if I cannot attend the conference?’
