Roskill returned to the Tower of London for a second year on 29 October for Roskill On the Road… London, bringing together members of the lithium-ion battery sector as well as key consumers and raw material supply chain representatives for a day of networking and information. The event allowed around 300 delegates to sample Roskill’s analysis across a number of raw materials and to get a glimpse at our latest forecasts for both the battery and EV markets. London marks the end of an auspicious year for Roskill on the Road… events which saw our team meet with clients across six continents, visit all corners of the lithium-ion battery industry, and reach out to all stages of the supply and manufacturing chains.
Following a morning of battery focus, the afternoon’s discussion shifted to different streams of analysis. Stream 1 offered delegates an overview of developments in the rare earth sector with a focus on Chinese supply and demand from wind turbines. Stream 2 focused on Roskill’s in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape for battery raw material projects with an overview of our findings on costs, profit margins and barriers to entry for the main greenfield projects across lithium, graphite, cobalt, manganese and nickel.
If you missed this, or any of our other Roskill on the Road… events then don’t worry – we will be back in 2020 with brand new industry updates and even more venues. Come meet us in New York (January), Cape Town (February), Perth, Australia (February), Santiago (March), or stay tuned for future events throughout the year. ‘Roskill on the Road…’ events are free to attend by invite only and are very popular so make sure to sign up well in advance to guarantee a place.
